Hyde & HareKova Commerce

Content Machine Concepts, September 2026

2 September 2026  ·  Nine creative concepts for Hyde & Hare, built from an analysis of 2,198 live ads across 15 comparable British brands. Each one names the single message it exists to land, the proof it borrows, and draft hooks, primary text and headlines. Approve the concepts worth scripting, reject the rest, and edit anything that reads wrong. Scripts are only written for approved concepts.
How to review: Anything with a pencil is editable, just click and type over it. Mark each one Approve or Reject. Your edits and choices save to this page automatically and Casey can see them, so you can close it and come back whenever you like.

When you are done, press Send to Casey at the bottom of the page. That just tells Casey you have finished and gives a copy that can be pasted straight into the ads.
C01 needs real footage
The Making Of depends on workshop or tannery access. Confirm what can actually be filmed before approving; the concept only claims what is on camera.
C06 before Q4?
Gifting is the seasonal window play. If approved, the gift edit collection and packaging shots need to exist before October. Is there a gifting service (wrapping, notes) we can truthfully mention?
C07 comparison figure
The direct price comparison only runs if we hold a documented comparable from a luxury retailer. If not, approve hooks 2 and 3 only.
C08 quiz page
The quiz landing page is a build. Approve the concept with the collection-link fallback, or hold it until the quiz exists?
Concept 01: The Making OfVideo 60 to 90s + 3 still cutdowns
Solution-aware buyers weighing the price. Answers the durability-quality doubt with demo-proof.
THE MESSAGE: show the making of a Hyde & Hare sheepskin (small batches, real hands, real place) so the price never needs defending. NOT about offers, styling or range breadth. WHY: founder-craft and behind-the-scenes are both empty lanes in our account, and this is the strongest pattern in the competitor set: five premium brands keep process films live for 39 to 179 days (ME+EM 114d, Colours of Arley 107d, OKA 179d, Loaf 44d). Needs workshop or tannery footage from Piers. Hook 2 is a deliberate fragment test against the flowing-prose preference; say if it should go.

Every one of our sheepskins passes through the same pair of hands more than once. They are tanned in small sustainable batches, brushed and finished here in England, and checked before they leave. It is slower this way, and it shows in the pile. From the deep pile of a sheepskin rug to the quiet weight of a wool throw, everything we make is made properly.

Concept 02: Wears In, Not Out1 claim static (evergreen)
Solution-aware buyers comparing against synthetics. Answers durability-quality.
THE MESSAGE: one durable claim static, real sheepskin improves with use, so buying once is the point. NOT about price, offers or the making story. WHY: our account is 92% video and the two longest-lived ads in the whole competitor harvest are single-claim statics (Snuz ran one for 803 days, The Little Green Sheep 389). One claim per execution; this is the cheapest durable asset the data offers.

Most soft furnishings look their best on the day they arrive. Real sheepskin is the other way round. The pile relaxes, the shape settles into your room, and it becomes the spot everyone quietly claims. Our rugs are tanned in small sustainable batches and handcrafted in England to be lived on, not looked at.

Concept 03: The Price, Plainly3 priced catalogue statics (rug, throw, seat pad)
Product-aware browsers. Pre-qualifies on price instead of hiding it.
THE MESSAGE: hero product on a plain ground with the spec line and the price stated without apology. NOT a discount and not persuasion; it is confidence. WHY: three competitor accounts run priced catalogue statics for 172 to 205 days (Fairfax & Favor state £185 and £445 plainly), while we make buyers reach the site to learn the price, which wastes clicks at our price points. Value line always precedes the price. Prices come from the live site on build day.

Concept 04: In Their Words1 to 3 review statics; video variant if statics perform
Solution-aware but sceptical. Answers trust-legitimacy with real reviews.
THE MESSAGE: a real customer review IS the entire creative; the brand stays quiet. NOT about specs or offers. WHY: the review embed is already our proven copy pattern (Ad 191 ran at 10x), but we have never promoted it from supporting copy to the creative itself, which Trinny London (179d), Mother Root (142d) and organic zoo all sustain. The verified review is "A rival to The White Company." Every additional review must be pulled and verified from the review platform, first name plus last initial, never trimmed in a way that changes meaning.

Concept 05: Yes, It Can Live With YouVideo 20 to 30s, real home
Problem-aware households with dogs, kids and doubts. Answers fit-suitability with demo-proof.
THE MESSAGE: prove on camera that a sheepskin survives real family life; the mess happens, the fix is shown, the rug is fine. NOT about softness or luxury; this is the practical-doubt ad. WHY: problem-solution is an empty lane for us and the mechanism is proven elsewhere (Lick wipes child, splatter and muddy dog off paint on camera; Loaf lets two cats prove the comfort claim). Care claims must match our published care guidance exactly; nothing beyond a shake, a brush and airing is shown.

Where would our rugs have to survive in your home? Under the coffee table, catching crumbs. In the hallway, meeting wet paws. By the fire, where the dog believes it was bought for him. Real sheepskin is more forgiving than it looks. A shake, a brush, the occasional airing, and it comes back to itself. [CARE SLOT: one true care line from the site's guidance.]

Concept 06: The Gift That Shows You Know Them1 unboxing-style video + 1 static, ready before Q4
Problem-aware gift buyers. Written for the GIVER, answers need-justification.
THE MESSAGE: a Hyde & Hare throw or sheepskin as the considered gift, with the unwrapping shown. NOT about specs or self-purchase. WHY: gifting is at zero in our account AND at 14 of the 15 competitor accounts; the one brand running it (The Newt) sustains it as 15% of their entire account. With Q4 coming this is the clearest uncontested seasonal lane in the whole analysis. Needs the real packaging on camera. Any included extra is complimentary, never anything else, and any Christmas cutoff appears once, calmly, at the end.

Some presents are opened, admired and quietly put away. A sheepskin throw is not one of them. It ends up on the arm of their favourite chair, over their knees in October, and underneath the cat by Christmas morning. Handcrafted in England from real natural fibres, in a restrained palette of oats, greys and creams. Wrapped and on its way in time. Concept 07: Quiet Luxury Maths1 to 2 value statics (texture macro behind the numbers)
Solution-aware buyers flinching at the price. Answers price with specific numbers.
THE MESSAGE: make the value argument once and properly, what our piece costs against what traditional luxury charges for the same natural materials. NOT a discount; this defends full price. WHY: value-economics and us-vs-them are both empty lanes for us, and exactly one competitor owns this argument (Rise & Fall, who run every value-anchoring ad in the entire 2,198-ad harvest, pricing "£135 vs £595 traditional luxury"). TEST verdict, two executions maximum. A comparison figure runs ONLY if we hold a documented comparable, brand never named; hooks 2 and 3 need no reference price at all.

Concept 08: Which Sheepskin Is Yours?1 static or carousel + a quiz landing page (build dependency)
Problem-aware browsers stuck on choice. Answers fit-suitability.
THE MESSAGE: a decision-help asset, three questions that match a buyer to their hide, colour and size. NOT selling any one product; it sells the shortcut to choosing. WHY: fit anxiety is the most-answered objection across the whole competitor set and we answer it nowhere; the mechanism is proven by Lick, whose colour quiz is the most durable ad in their account at 179 days. Also captures colour preference for retargeting before Q4. The quiz page is a build dependency; the no-build fallback is a colour-filtered collection link.

Concept 09 (Experimental): The Anatomy of a Hide1 annotated static
Solution-aware buyers who have seen cheap imitations. Answers trust-legitimacy.
THE MESSAGE: one photograph of one hide, hand-annotated with what makes it real (pile density, tanning, edge, origin); expertise, not advertising. NOT lifestyle or emotion. WHY: experimental slot, single-competitor evidence only (organic zoo runs handwritten annotated statics for 50 to 82 days), but it lands in two empty lanes for us and arms buyers against imitation sheepskins, which nothing in our account touches. Every annotation must be literally true of the product photographed. Category-level contrast only; no named competitor, no disparaging fake-fur brands.

P4 · Draft primary EditedRevised since your edit
Once you know what to look for, you can spot a real sheepskin from the doorway. The pile is dense enough to lose your fingers in. The back is supple, because it was tanned in small sustainable batches rather than rushed. The edges follow the animal, not a template. Ours are handcrafted in England, and they hold up to this kind of inspection. That is rather the point.
